Q&A: Wedding Day Prep
-
For the best results, please arrive with clean, blow-dried hair and skip heavy products, oils, or leave-in conditioners. We won’t be able to wash hair on the day of services, so coming in freshly cleaned and dried is a must. If you’re planning a curly updo, style your curls just as you normally would and try to time it so your favorite “curl day” falls right on your wedding day.
-
A button-down shirt, robe, or anything that doesn’t need to be pulled over your head is ideal. This prevents messing up your finished hair and makeup.
-
Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. In the morning, apply a light, oil-free moisturizer for the best makeup application.
-
Please don’t arrive with wet hair, since we can’t always accommodate blow-dries during wedding services. Skip heavy oils, serums, or leave-in products that can weigh your hair down, and try to wait on makeup until after your hair appointment. For your skin, don’t skip moisturizer — hydrated skin is key for a long-lasting look — but steer clear of moisturizers or sunscreens with SPF that can cause flashback in photos.
